Friday Links - 1 : The Code4Lib Journal

Knowledge sharing is part of our Profession. There are millions of information available on the net, how we are going to filter them and identify most useful sites for our community. I would like to share some of the best resources available online, with the series of posts called Friday Links. Every Friday, you can find an exciting link or a website in my blog. This is the first post of the series.  happy weekend....!!!

The Code4Lib Journal (http://journal.code4lib.org)

Code4Lib is a quarterly peer reviewed journal, started in 2007 primarily to be an access point for people looking to learn more about IT tools for LIS, approaches and solutions to real-world problems, and about possibilities for building on the
work of others, so that the wheel need only be invented once, and can then be cooperatively improved by all.

By communicating both the problems and possibilities of current and
future systems to the wider library community, C4LJ aims to help engender collective understanding and the necessary support for
improving library technology and digital services.
